After graduating high school, Kimmylea stepped directly into the real estate world, beginning her career with a new home builder. Immersed in construction, design, showings, and the home-buying process, she discovered early on how much she loved helping people make one of the most meaningful investments of their lives. When the home builder suddenly closed their doors, it didn’t derail her path, it simply redirected her toward something better.

Recognizing her professionalism, communication skills, and natural client rapport, several mortgage lenders encouraged her to join First National Bank. She began in the FNBO Marketing Department and quickly rose through the ranks, overseeing large-scale events across the United States. Her talent for creating elevated experiences caught the attention of the bank’s president, who ultimately entrusted her to plan his wedding in Arizona.

That event changed everything.

After witnessing her meticulous attention to detail and creative vision, the president encouraged her to pursue event planning professionally. With his support, she built her company and in 2007 LimeLight Expressions was born. From the start, LimeLight Expressions distinguished itself by consistently providing high-end design, concierge-level service, and a warm, relationship-driven approach. What began as a small Nebraska venture quickly grew into an internationally recognized brand, celebrated for luxury events and the personalized touch that makes every client feel like the star of their story.

Through all this growth, Kimmylea never stepped away from real estate.

She remains active as a referral agent, guiding family, friends, and longtime clients through buying and selling with the same integrity, clarity, and care she’s known for in the event industry. Her dual expertise in real estate and event planning allows her to serve clients holistically, whether she’s helping them find the perfect home or celebrating life’s biggest milestones.
